Surgical Services

Kentucky River Medical Center offers general and specialized surgical procedures. Many of these procedures are available on a same-day, outpatient basis.

The surgical services department consists of three operating suites and we offer same-day surgery, post-anesthesia care and a central sterile supply.

Surgical patients remain in the recovery room until they are ready to return to their room or be discharged home.

We serve inpatients and outpatients. Patients are evaluated according to age-specific needs, health care needs and their desire for treatment.
