Infusion Services

Kentucky River Medical Center’s Outpatient Infusion Service is dedicated to providing patient care. We offer a comfortable and convenient setting for those who require frequent infusions and medications. Infusion services are provided by a staff of registered nurses who specialize in intravenous therapy.

Patients receive their infusions in a dedicated suite on a recliner and may enjoy television, use our complimentary guest Wi-Fi, listen to music, read or simply relax.

At Kentucky River Medical Center, our Infusion Center Services Include:

• IV antibiotics and antifungals
• Blood and blood product transfusions
• Maintenance of central venous access devices
• Hydration therapy
• Iron infusions
• Injections
• Specialty medications as approved
